27/12 - 17/01 : Summer of Pickleball (The Y)

25-33 Riversdale Rd, Newtown 3220 VIC
Come and join us us for a Summer of Pickleball this holiday season at the Y in Newtown - if you're around there's plenty of pickleball to play, and we are organising a number of mini-tournaments to keep things interesting: All mini tourneys will have 2 (possibly 3) divisions depending on the PIRAT/DUPR ratings of the players who sign up, and you'll be automatically placed in in Division 1, 2 (or 3) based on the combined rating of you and your partner.

A one off $5 registration fee will automatically be added when you book into the first tournament that's part of the Summer of Pickleball Series - alternatively you can register for the series manually manually right here.

All tournaments will start with round robin pool play, followed by semifinals and then medal matches. Pool play is generally either to 11 or 15 win by 2 (depending on pool size), semifinals are to 15 win by 2 and medal matches are best out of 3, play to 11 win by 2.

No referees, if you can't resolve a dispute on the court then you can raise it with the tourney director whose decision is final.

Registration

In order to participate in this tournament you need to be a current Pickleball Australia Member, so let's start with your Pickleball Australia National Member ID

This is a number between 1 and 35000 that you would have been given when you became a Pickleball Australia member (most likely via Pickleball Victoria, but if you started playing in another state then you would have been given that number by the corresponding state based pickleball association).
